About CPF Counselling Croydon
CPF Counselling was founded in 1977, as Croydon Pastoral Foundation, to provide access to affordable counselling for people over the age of 18 years in the Croydon area and beyond, including those unable to pay the full fee. It is a non profit-making charitable organisation. All counselling is carried out in our counselling rooms at our Kyle House centre, which is situated in the heart of Croydon. Clients self-refer and come to us from the borough of Croydon, although we also take clients from areas outside this.
We offer counselling Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 9.00 pm and Saturday morning.

As a member of the WPF Therapy Network, CPF Counselling retains independent identity but benefits from membership of an organisation which has over 30 years experience of running counselling services and training counsellors.

Ethics: CPF Counselling is a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) - accredited counselling service and undergoes regular annual assessment to ensure that it continues to meet the exacting professional requirements of that association. www.bacp.co.uk
The centre complies with and operates to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
All personal information disclosed by a counsellor is confidential to the centre except in circumstances outlined by the BACP Ethical Framework (e.g. in a court of law). All CPF members abide by this code.

Network: CPF Counselling is a WPF Therapy Network centre, the largest general counselling service in Britain.
The network consists of a group of centres in England associated with WPF Therapy, which deliver professional, affordable, high-quality counselling which is psychodynamic or psychodynamically-informed. Each centre undergoes regular rigorous appraisals to assess the quality and appropriateness of its service.
