Appointments for counselling
CPF Counselling Croydon operates an appointments-only system and appointments are made by telephoning or emailing us.
Calls are answered at certain times in the day and at other times messages can be left on an answerphone and will be dealt with as soon as possible. Alternatively you can email your details to us, including your telephone number, and we will contact you as soon as possible and email or post you clients’ information pack.
Inside the pack there will be a questionnaire which we will ask you to complete and return to us with the registration fee if you are interested in proceeding with counselling.
If our service cannot provide the help you need we will suggest alternatives wherever possible.
The Counselling Assessment Session
This session provides the opportunity to talk about the problems and reasons for coming to counselling. It lasts up to 90 minutes. Following the assessment we will write to you within 3 – 4 weeks recommending the type of counselling we think would best meet your needs and we will try to allocate a suitable counsellor for you as soon as possible.
Waiting times for counselling
Our services are always in demand and owing to pressure on resources there may be a waiting list for both assessment interviews and subsequent counselling sessions. Waiting times vary and every attempt is made to accommodate those who seek help as quickly as possible, usually within weeks. There is a heavier demand for evenings and weekends.
